WMS subscribes to three on-line research databases: World Book Online, EbscoHost, and Encyclopedia Britannica. These provide our students with quality, pre-screened, grade-level material on topics covered in our curriculum. Students who use databases will find authentic, quality information from a reliable source. All databases and additional school resources are accessible through ClassLink.

All students have access to the video creation tool, WeVideo. WeVideo enables users to film with the webcam on their computers, film their computer screens, or to simply narrate over a series of images. Students can use WeVideo to make commercials, film skits, create how-to videos. WeVideo also has a color keying option so students can use the green screens to make their video productions professional.

Students and staff also have access to Chromebook apps and extensions. These tools help users do everything from saving tabs to checking grammar. To get extensions added to student accounts, please reach out to the technology department. For information about which apps and extensions are available, stop by the library.

There are many citations tools available online. Students at WMS have access to Noodletools, an ad-free citation tool.
