Governor's School of the Entrepreneurs
GSE IS THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME.
Opening our doors to the first group of young entrepreneurs in 2013, we bring teens from across the state into a three-week residential program, immerse them in a creative space and arm them with the tools needed to unleash their entrepreneurial spirits for the betterment of Kentucky.
GSE’s leadership recognized that teens in Kentucky were not being given dynamic opportunities to learn about entrepreneurship and put their ideas into action. For many communities in Kentucky, efforts focused on human capital -- meaning entrepreneurship education initiatives aimed at changing the mindset and capacity of young people -- may be the best hope of changing outcomes and improving living standards.
It is 100% free to apply and attend; all Kentucky 9th, 10th, and 11th grades are eligible to apply.
The GSE application will open this October.
