Mrs. Darnell

My name is Lori Darnell and I absolutely love being a Cumberland Trace tiger. I have been a part of the Cumberland Trace family for six years. This is my ninth year in the Warren County School District. In May of 2017, I graduated with my master's degree in Teacher Leadership with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented. In December of 2020, I completed my Rank 1 in administration at WKU. I am happily married to my husband, Eric and we have two children, Sadie and Kayden. In my free time, I love to watch UK basketball, go shopping, and spend time with my family and friends.

My goal is to remove the learning ceiling, so your child can continue to grow and excel in his/her gifted area(s). In my class, your child will be challenged to be creative as well as use critical thinking skills. We will use a hands-on/minds-on learning approach which will allow your child to engage more deeply into the lesson. I look forward to an awesome year of learning with your child!
