Teacher Information

MY MISSION IS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE EVERY CHILD FEELS IMPORTANT, LOVED, AND SUCCESSFUL. 

Hello Class of 2034,

        My name is Ridale Perry and I am thrilled to be a Second Grade Teacher at Jody Richards Elementary. I love spending my day with happy little faces who are ready to learn! My goal is to teach beyond the three R's. I teach children to see the best in themselves and to be responsible learners. I teach them to love one another and, above all things, be kind. I teach the WHOLE child!  We have so much fun learning and growing together :)

       Let me tell you a little about myself. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Rob. We have been married 32 years! We moved to Bowling Green fifteen years ago, so it is home now. We are originally from Huntington, West Virginia. I attended Marshall University (GO HERD!) for three years, but graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Marshall University Graduate College.  I taught Kindergarten for two years in West Virginia. It was a wonderful experience! However once I became a mommy, I decided to take time off from teaching to stay home with my babies. Rob and I have two children, Robi (25) and Elijah (21). Once we moved to Bowling Green, I began teaching again. I was a Fourth Grade teacher at Rich Pond Elementary for 2 years before coming to Jody Richards Elementary. This is my eleventh year in Second Grade...AND I LOVE IT!
