Teaching and working with children have always been my passion. Through the years I have taught gymnastics, dance, Sunday School, VBS, worked at a daycare, volunteered with girl scouts, and was an instructional aid. Being a teacher has always been my dream (besides wanting to be a cowgirl). In 2008, my dream came true! I graduated from WKU with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and began teaching at Rich Pond Elementary that fall. Later, I moved to JRES and also earned my Masters through the University of the Cumberlands as a Reading and Writing Specialist. This will be my 16th year teaching! I love coming to my dream job and teaching your children; it is such a rewarding career!
I am truly blessed with a wonderful family. My husband is John (we call him Buddy), and he runs his own business, A+ Vinyl Siding. We have four beautiful girls. Ale is 26, Lillian is 22, Natalie is 19, and Olivia is 17. We also have two dogs and three cats. My family and I live out in the country between Franklin and Bowling Green. We love being outside; riding 4-wheelers, kayaking, fishing, going to the beach or lake, and laying by the pool.
Activity: I love dancing, kayaking, taking pictures, and hanging out with my husband and all my girls (daughters, sisters, mom, and great niece)!
Drink: I try to drink mostly water, but I do enjoy my coffee every morning.
Snack: I love different kinds of crackers and nuts, and I have a weakness for chocolate!
Restaurant: My family and I love to eat at Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Chick-fil-A.
Color: Pink
Place: My family and I love going to the beach, lake, and river. We love being in or near water!
