Q: Your prices are way lower than Home Depot, Lowe's, Floor and Decor and other flooring stores. What is the catch?
There is no catch. The difference is structural. Click here to see the price differences.
Big box stores and other flooring stores, buy flooring through layers of distributors, regional warehouses, and brokers before it ever hits a shelf. Each layer takes a cut. By the time that floor reaches a customer, the price has been marked up 40 to 70 percent over what the product actually costs to manufacture.
We cut all of that out. We buy direct from the factory and do it by the truckload. We operate out of a warehouse at 163 Old Todds Rd, not a showroom with expensive displays, a large sales staff, or spend several thousand dollars a month on advertising. We strip out all the markup and pass the savings to you.
Same quality floor. Lower cost. That is the whole model.

Q: Is the lower price a sign of lower quality or factory seconds?
No. We only stock first-quality, commercial-grade LVP. Every floor we carry has a minimum 20 mil wear layer. That is the spec contractors, property managers, and investors use on real jobsites.
John Walton, our co-owner, spent 10 years installing flooring before we opened this warehouse. He has seen firsthand what cheap floors do after two years of real use. That experience is why we set 20 mil as our minimum and do not budge on it. We went to the factory, met the employees, and watched the product testing. We know exactly what we are selling.
The price is lower because the overhead is lower. The product is not.
Q: How much does LVP flooring cost at WarehouseDirect.US?
Our in-stock LVP starts at $1.69 per square foot for 20 mil SPC planks. USA-made options in our AR Line start at $1.99 per square foot. Wider planks and specialty styles run $1.79 to $2.59 per square foot. There are times where we get special deals and can bring in a truckload that is special and can be cheaper than $1.69. These usually don't last long and can be unpredictable based on the deals we can arrange with the factories.
That is the warehouse price. No negotiating. No markups for certain customers. Everyone gets the same number because we run on thin margins and high volume, not inflated prices with room for fake discounts.

Q: Do I have to buy a full pallet?
No. Buy exactly what your project needs. There is no minimum order. We do offer volume pricing for pallet-level purchases, which is why contractors and investors buy from us regularly. But if you need three boxes for a bathroom, come get three boxes.
Q: Why don't you have sales?
Because we do not need them.
Walk past any big box flooring store and you will see signs in the window screaming "FLOORING SALE" every single week. That is because their everyday price has enough markup built in to support a fake discount and still turn a profit.
Our everyday price is already below what everyone else calls a sale price. When you compare us to the competition on the same specs, same wear layer, same core type, our regular price beats their sale price. Every time.
So yes, the signs out front do say flooring sale. That is because once you compare us to anyone else in town, our prices are the sale.

We have written an in-depth guide on what LVP installation actually costs in the Lexington market. Read it here: How Much Should I Pay for an LVP Installer in Lexington, KY?
Q: Do you install flooring?
We do not install flooring. What we do is make sure you are never on your own figuring it out.
Most people have never hired a flooring installer before. They do not know what to look for, what questions to ask, or what a fair price looks like. That is where we come in.
What to look for in an installer
Before you hire anyone, here is what matters:
They should be fully insured. Ask for proof before they set foot in your home. If they are not insured and something goes wrong with your subfloor, your walls, or your floor itself, you have no recourse.
They should guarantee their work. A professional installer stands behind the job. If something fails due to installation error, they come back and fix it.
They should measure before they quote. Any installer who gives you a price without seeing the space is guessing. Subfloor conditions, room layout, transitions, and moisture levels all affect the job. A quote without a site visit is not a real quote.
They should not be pushing you toward a specific product. If an installer is steering you toward one floor over another, ask why. In most stores, installers get a cut when they upsell you to a more expensive product. The installers we recommend do not.
We refer installers we trust. John Walton, our co-owner, spent 10 years installing floors across Central Kentucky. He knows who does the job right and who cuts corners. If you want a name, we will give you one.
That said, we always recommend getting multiple quotes. The installer we refer is not the only good installer in Lexington. Get two or three quotes, compare them, and make your own decision. We have no financial interest in who you hire.
Free site visit and measurement
The installer we refer will come to your home, measure every room, assess your subfloor, and tell you exactly what you need before you spend a dollar. No charge. No obligation to buy from us. Just an accurate picture of your project so you do not short yourself on material or get surprised on install day.
You handle the installer relationship directly
Once you decide who you want, you hire them directly, schedule directly, and pay them directly. There is no middleman. No markup on labor. No package deal where we take a cut. The installer works for you.
So while we do not install, we can get you measured, connect you with someone who will do it right, and make sure you walk out of here with the correct material for your project.
Q: Do you offer free in-home measurement?
Yes. Free in-home measurement with no purchase required and no obligation. A trusted flooring professional comes to your home, measures your space accurately, walks through the project with you, and tells you exactly what you need. No fees. No commitment. Just measurements.
This service exists because an accurate measurement saves you money and headaches. Buying too little means a second trip. Buying too much means wasted material. We would rather you get it right the first time.

Q: What if I already have my own installer?
Come in, pick out the floor you love, and bring your installer in to do the work. We are here Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No appointment needed.
We are happy to answer any technical questions your installer has about the product. Spec sheets, wear layer details, core type, warranty requirements, whatever they need.
Q: Why should I trust the installer you recommend?
Because John Walton, our co-owner, spent 10 years as a flooring installer before opening this warehouse. He has worked alongside enough contractors to know the difference between someone who does this right and someone who cuts corners. Every installer we recommend has been vetted by someone who has actually done the work.
We do not refer anyone we would not trust in our own homes. That is not a marketing line. That is how we operate.
Q: Who do I pay for installation?
You pay the installer directly. Installation is a completely separate transaction from your flooring purchase. You buy your floor from us at the warehouse price. You pay your installer separately for their labor. The two are never bundled, never marked up, and never combined into a package where we take a cut.
That separation is intentional. It keeps our pricing honest and keeps the installer accountable directly to you.
Q: What if I have a problem with the installation?
Every installer we recommend is fully insured and guarantees their work. If something goes wrong with the installation, that is between you and the installer and they are on the hook for it. We only refer professionals who stand behind what they do.
If you ever have a concern, call us. We are not going to disappear after the sale. John has been in this trade long enough to help you figure out whether a problem is a product issue or an installation issue, and we will tell you the truth either way.

Q: How do I know how much flooring to buy?
Measure the square footage of your space and add 10 percent for cuts and waste. For rooms with angles, alcoves, or irregular shapes, add 15 percent. Stairs have their own calculation. Quarter round is roughly the 30% of the total square footage. Remember, it's best to have a professional come out and measure and look at your floor before you spend any money. It is free. Take advantage of it.
When in doubt, call us before you buy. We would rather spend five minutes on the phone with you than have you short on material mid-install.
Q: How do I know what is in stock?
Call or text 859-287-2966. That is the fastest and most accurate answer. Stock moves and we update availability in real time when you reach us directly. You can also walk in during business hours and see every in-stock floor in person.
Q: Can I see the floors in person before I buy?
Yes. That is the point of the warehouse. Come in during business hours, walk the floor, see the colors in natural light, and pick up actual planks. No appointment needed. We offer free samples and encourage you take them home first to make sure that you really love the flooring before you purchase it.
163 Old Todds Rd, Suite 100, Lexington, KY 40509. Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Q: Can I order a floor that is not currently in stock?
Yes. We have access to 169 additional styles available to order. Lead times vary, but are usually available in 3-4 days for rush orders. Call or text 859-287-2966 to ask about a specific style, color, or spec.
Q: Who is WarehouseDirect.US?
WarehouseDirect.US is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned wholesale LVP flooring warehouse in Lexington, Kentucky. We were built around a simple idea: sell first-quality flooring at a price that makes financial sense for homeowners, contractors, flippers, and property managers across Central Kentucky.
The business was founded by two partners who got tired of watching people overpay. Christian Loftus is a retired combat Veteran with 22 years of military service. John Walton spent 10 years as a flooring installer before we opened and knows the difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails. When you come in, you are talking to people with real skin in the game, not a commissioned salesperson working through a script.
Q: Who shops at WarehouseDirect.US?
Contractors and flippers who need reliable inventory at a price that keeps projects profitable. Property managers who need durable, cost-effective flooring for multiple units. Homeowners who did their research and realized they were overpaying at the big box stores. Anyone who wants a better floor for less money and does not need a showroom experience to make that decision.
Q: Are you Veteran owned?
Yes. WarehouseDirect.US is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business. Christian Loftus, co-owner and founder, served 22 years in the United States military as a combat Veteran before starting this business. That background shapes how we operate: straight talk, no games, and a commitment to doing right by the people we serve.
