Curriculum
Students in Year 7 and 8 are taught three one hour lessons per fortnight. Students learn the basics and gain confidence in all areas of language learning, including listening, reading, speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary and translation.
Homework Tasks
Homeworks are set weekly and a strong emphasis is placed on vocabulary learning. Students use Memrise to practise and learn topic vocabulary. This is a website and app which promotes long term memory through repetition of topic vocabulary. In addition, we use Seneca to set occasional assignments.
