Typing Club, Google for Education Applications, Brainpop and Seesaw.
Please use your students LaunchPad to access each of these programs to use at home and see what we are up to.

Children in grades per-K -1st grade learn how to develop skills in the following areas through instruction and practice.
Keyboarding
Starting in grade 1 students will utilize Typing Club- a fun and motivating program available on their launchpads
iPad Skills
Students learn how to turn on and off ipads correctly, as well as launch, execute and close apps/software including the Classlink "Launchpad" properly.
Computer Skills
Students master logging on and off of the network on their chromebooks while selecting and launching age appropriate websites including favorites like PBSKids and Starfall.
Proper Usage and Care
Students practice how to use and take care of technology tools available at Wandell.
Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship
Students will learn to be a good digital citizen and how to stay safe online.
Coding
Students practice creating and debugging sets of simple directions in real life and online using Scratch Jr. and Code.org.
Children in grades 2-5 learn how to develop skills in the following areas through instruction and practice.
Keyboarding

Laptop and Desktop Skills
Students learn to launch and close programs properly, select appropriate programs and websites and execute them.
Proper Usage and Care

Students learn all of the ins and outs of Google Apps for Education including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Internet Safety, Digital Citizenship, Privacy and Copyrights
Students utilize the website CommonSenseMedia to learn and practice how to be a good digital citizen and how to stay safe online.
Coding
Students use the websites Code.org and ScratchMIT, students learn a solid introduction to computer coding and it's relevance in our everyday lives.
