Students are required to bring a fully charged Chromebook to school each day for class. This may not always be the case. We do not have enough Chromebooks to provide backup for students in that situation. We swap out Chromebooks for students who have turned their Chromebooks in for repairs and we do not have a big supply. We also do not lend out chargers. If a student needs a replacement charger, the cost is $35 and they can log a student trouble ticket to put in a request. A link to that form is located on their Student Resource page. If the student chooses to leave their Chromebook with us, we will plug it in the library to charge while they are in class.
Remind students that their Chromebook needs rest just like they do -- they need to shut it down and plug it in each night so it can be fresh for class in the morning. See our Computer Tips page for some handy Chromebook tips -- it will have updates as we get more information from our amazing technicians.
