If you are a student and your Chromebook is in need of repair or you need technical assistance, you can bring your Chromebook to the WHS Library and simply fill out a Tech Support Request . If you are in need of a loaner Chromebook for your classes, you can borrow one from the library and return it when your Chromebook is repaired.
Keep in mind your Chromebook agreement and insurance - not all repairs are free. You may need to pay for the service. See Warranty and Repair Information for details about repairs and prices.
All Chromebook users should Clear your Cache and Reset Chrome: These 2 steps take just a minute, but gives your Chromebook a fresh palette to work with.
Keep the number of tabs you have open to a minimum
Your Chromebook needs to rest and refresh every night just like humans do so it can be fully charged for the day ahead. Before you go to bed, put your Chromebook to bed! Tuck it in by shutting it down and plugging it in. It will be refreshed and ready for the next day!
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL Chromebooks are scheduled to Sign Out after 12 hours of use. To avoid any disruption during the day, especially with Google Meets, remember to properly Shut Down each night and/or first thing in the morning to start each day fresh. This also ensures your Chromebook has all the current updates installed.
Need a new charger? Use the appropriate support request form (found on staff and student resource pages) to request another one. The student price is $35.00
