I'm in my 28th year in the Walnut Creek School District. My experience in the district includes:

My degrees and credentials include a Bachelor's in History with a minor in Philosophy, a Master's in History, a California multiple subject teaching credential, and supplemental authorizations to teach English and Social Studies as single subjects. In 2013 and 2023 I was named WCI's Teacher of the Year, and in 2023 I was named the school district's Teacher of the Year.
Prior to working in Walnut Creek School District, I worked for Huntington Learning Center as a teacher and assessor. In addition to providing instruction in reading and language arts, I taught SAT prep courses for the verbal portion of the test.
I live in Walnut Creek, and my own three children attended PALS, WCI, and Las Lomas. I love teaching in the community where I live!
