Group Visits

The Smith Planetarium can serve as an additional venue or meeting place for local businesses, clubs and organizations. Over the years, we have hosted events of all types. These events have ranged from meetings, luncheons, dinners, dances, BBQ's, concerts, car shows, family reunions & birthday parties. We have even held weddings & receptions at the planetarium! Facility availability is limited and is handled on a case by case basis to include weekends and summer break. For all group visits, we charge a $150 facility usage fee. This entitles the group to full access and use of the planetarium, museum and grounds. Food vendors and catering are also welcome.
