About Me

Hillary Knowles

I started teaching in 2004 after studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in English and History at Massey University. I started at Waitara High School on June 1, 2005 as an English teacher and then became the Head of the English Department in 2013 before becoming the Deputy Principal - Learning in 2018. During my time at Waitara High School, I have also studied towards a Master of Education degree which specialised in teaching teenagers how to read better. My email is hkn@waitarahs.school.nz
