FAFSA

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

FAFSA opens on October 1st!

Here are four simple steps to follow:

1. Start gathering all of your personal information (e.g. tax records, social security numbers, etc.)

2. Use an e-mail account that you check regularly. It is recommended that students DO NOT use your school e-mail address. This account will be deleted once you graduate.

2. Complete a FSA ID. Both the student and one parent needs to create an ID. This can be done before October 1st. Click here to create a FSA ID

3. Complete the application. Mark all schools in your application that you would like to send your FAFSA information to. You can initially list up to 10 schools in your account and may add/change your schools later. Click here to start your FAFSA application

4. After you have been accepted to your college, your financial aid award letter will soon follow. Once received, review it. You may contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions or need clarification.
