10COM (Commerce)

Students in Year 10 Commerce (formerly Business Studies) use information technology and learn via a wide range of teaching and learning activities about topics relevant to all types of businesses operating in New Zealand, including: 

• Human Resources – students learn about the Human Resource function within businesses including recruitment, selection, training, leadership, communication, team work and employment law.

• Financial Literacy - students use the online Banqer platform to learn about income, expenses, savings, investment and the financial impact of the decisions that they make in life
