Do your kids go crazy for Kpop Demon Hunter? Are you constantly hearing the soundtrack on repeat? Do you wish they had a fun, creative outlet that keeps them moving, grooving, and channeling their inner pop star?

In this session, Unique Technique Dance brings the world of Kpop Dance Hunters to life! This is a high-energy after-school dance class where students will learn choreography inspired by the movie’s songs and characters while exploring the unique rhythms, formations, and expressions that make Kpop such an exciting global phenomenon.

We’ll even take a quick look at the history of Kpop and pay homage to the style that started it all, helping dancers appreciate the culture behind the moves. But mostly, we’ll be rocking out to the Kpop Demon Hunter soundtrack, learning fun routines, and celebrating the joy of dance!

 No prior experience needed—just energy, enthusiasm, and a love for music. Get ready to dance and shine—Kpop style!

Explore the imaginative world of improv! Students will learn improvisation basics, play games with friends, and create their own unique worlds and situations. The sky’s the limit! Improv is a great way for kids to build confidence and trust in others in a safe and supportive environment.

B&B Training Solutions provides a wide variety of basketball training that's fun and safe. We emphasize critical lessons in sports, such as teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports through a game-based and fundamental curriculum, while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. Players of all levels are welcome! Our coaches bring years of experience and success across multiple levels of play, including college and professionally in the Euro League.

This introductory watercolor course invites young artists to explore the magic of paint, water, and color in a fun, encouraging environment. Students will learn how to mix colors, create gradients, layer washes, and use simple brush techniques to bring their ideas to life. Each week features a guided project—such as landscapes, animals, abstract art, and pattern play—that builds confidence while leaving room for personal expression. Students finish the class with a collection of vibrant artworks and a strong foundation in watercolor basics.

• Creating washes, gradients, and layered effects

Wade King Chess Club offers an opportunity for students to connect with other students, build skills and strategies to improve their chess playing, and learn to build positive relationships. This is a fun and engaging after-school enrichment opportunity that improves learning, thinking, analytical power, and decision-making ability. Studies have shown that learning chess as a child can increase cognitive brain function, such as creative thinking, strategic planning, memorization, and problem solving.

This club has advanced chess instructors. We break students into two groups based on skill, not age, (beginner and intermediate) in an effort to meet their skill level and engage their thinking and effort appropriately. Students participate in an organized tournament structure with one game each week against a pre-arranged opponent to practice their tournament-levels skills.

Mythmakers is a series of daily, self-contained adventures all centered in the same fantasy setting (for example a neighborhood in a city). The self-contained nature of the adventures offers flexibility for tailoring adventures to fit the participants’ interests, and those who aren’t interested in the adventure-of-the-day always have the option to play a fun variety of sword games instead.

Each mini-adventure contributes to the ultimate goals of the season, such as building a stronger community and/or defeating a powerful antagonist. This means that participants build on one another’s achievements and by the end of the program, celebrate all that they’ve accomplished together. These programs use a simple LARP game system, with rules and powers that promote player choice and teamwork.

Students will enter a world of imagination as they sculpt fairies, fantasy creatures, and miniature fairy garden treasures out of clay. Each week introduces a new hand-building skill as students design and create magical pieces using their own creative ideas. While learning real ceramic techniques like forming, carving, and glazing, they’ll bring their unique fantasy worlds to life through art.

• Learn basic clay hand-building and sculpting techniques

• Explore imaginative design and creative storytelling

• Practice texture, color, and glazing methods

• Build fine motor skills and artistic confidence

During Session 2 of Honor Choir, students will work toward preparing for Honor Choir Fest at the Christ the King Community Church in Bellingham on March 21 with a possible additional local National Anthem performance.

Students enrolling in Honor Choir are expected to follow school expectations AND are also expected to practice at home between after-school rehearsals. Honor Choir is intended for students who are eager to learn how to elevate their singing potential and perform with high energy and stamina. Lead by Vocal Director, Angela Mazur.

This opportunity will teach students how to sing in an ensemble and learn performance skills. Lead by Vocal Director, Angela Mazur. Attending students should be interested in music, singing, and teamwork. In addition, kiddos will learn about and appreciate all types of music. Prior knowledge musical literacy or vocal training is not required. 

Junior Choir is all about FUN, FUN, FUN!  There are no scheduled performances at this time.  As the group assembles and rehearsals begin, information regarding a small performance will be shared.

Pick up: Transportation fee includes van transportation from Wade King at 2:30 p.m., snack and care until classes begin at 3:30 p.m., and transportation back to Wade King.
