Every week, Ridge Road parents receive a literacy text through Parent Square, the Washington County School District's communication messenger, to support reading at home. Parents are encouraged to read daily with their children, have conversations to expand their children's vocabulary and build background knowledge. These texts also promote visiting the local library and the little free libraries around the community as places to choose a variety of books.
