QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship
Grade Level: 12
Award: Four Year Full Scholarship
Qualifications: Graduating seniors who aspire to attend one of 55 colleges that are part of the QuestBridge program. Applicants should earn mostly A grades in the most challenging courses available and display intellectual curiosity and strong writing ability, come from a household earning less than $65,000 annually (for a family of 4) with minimal assets, and demonstrate resilience, integrity, and motivation to succeed.

Award: $1000 - $4,000
Qualifications: Any senior planning to graduate with their class and enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution in the fall of 2027. Minimum unweighted cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicants should excel in the classroom and community and demonstrate excellence in various categories including: Community Service, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Green. Additional categories may be added throughout the awards season.

JFK Profile in Courage Essay Contest
Grade Level: 9 - 12
Award: $1000 - $10,000
Qualifications: Any high school student who writes a winning essay. Essay must be between 700 - 1000 words and include a minimum of 5 cited sources. Topic: Describe and analyze an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born. Include an analysis of the obstacles, risks, and consequences associated with the act. The essay may concern an issue at the local, state, national, or international level.

Applicants must be planning to attend JJC and work toward employment in high growth, high demand occupations in Will County.
