The National Junior Art Honor Society was recently established at Glen Meadow Middle School to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. The program supports members in their efforts to attain the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service and to bring positive recognition of our art education program to the attention of our school and community.
Art students in grades 7 and 8 who have completed at least two marking periods of art are considered for selection by meeting those requirements and earning a "B" average in 2 or more art classes. The induction ceremony coincides with Vernon Township School District's Annual Art Show, ArtStanding, generally held in May.
