Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child have to attend every day?
Your child does not have to attend CCLC every day. Research indicates that students who participate in after-school activities tend to have improved grades and social skills.
Is tutoring part of the program?
We do not offer one-to-one tutoring; however, each day we have academic time with teachers where students can work on homework, projects, and other assignments, and they can seek support if needed.
Is the program free?
The entire program, including all of the activities and field trips, is free.
Is transportation provided?
Glen Meadow will now have late buses for the 2025-2026 school year. Please refer to the registration form for all of the information. It is your child's responsibility to know whether they are taking the late bus or not. There will be announcements to report to the cafeteria to take the late bus each day. Teachers will be present and assisting with the buses; however, they are not responsible in knowing if your child should be taking the bus or not.
If your child does not take the late bus, please arrange pickup no later than 6:00 pm.
If my child participates in an after-school activity or sport with another advisor or coach, do they need to sign up for CCLC?
Yes, all Glen Meadow activities and sports are filtered through CCLC to keep track of student attendance during after-school hours.
