Health Rocks! is a 4-H Healthy Living program with the goal of bringing youth, families and communities together to reduce tobacco, alcohol, e-cigarette/vaping, and drug use. This program applies 4‑H’s successful Positive Youth Development model focused on life skill and decision-making development, and it utilizes the “Teens as Teachers” approach to build leadership skills. Recently, the Health Rocks! curriculum, which includes a beginner and intermediate level, went through a revision to include more recent trends facing youth today and can be used to help combat the opioid and vaping epidemic that currently exists.
