About Me
I am a third year graduate student at Virginia Tech. My advisor is Prof. Gretchen Matthews. I am a member of the Applied Algebra Research Group (AARG). Actively involved with events hosted by the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) and am a CCI Innovation Scholar.
Main research areas/interests:
Coding theory: Adversarial network coding/Quantum codes/Algebraic Geometric Codes
Quantum Computing: Quantum algorithms for NP hard problems
Post-quantum cryptography

I am a co-organizer of the Postgraduate International Coding Theory Seminar (PICS) (jointly with Giuseppe Cotardo, Anina Gruica and Benjamin Jany).
I am co-creater and co-organizer (jointly with Anayse Miller) of the Virginia Tech Math Graduate Student Seminar (VTMGSS).
I was selected as the 2024 Outstanding Masters Student of the Virginia Tech College of Science.
Starting April 2024, I will be the Graduate Professional and Student (GPSS) Senate Director of Programs for 2024-2025.
I received Honorable Mention in the 2024 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) competition. List here.
