Registration closed on June 7, 2024

April 1, 2024:

$425 for students and all attendees from low income countries

$575 for postdocs

$775 for everyone else

June 7, 2024: Registration at full rate will close

July 7, 2024: ICPPB & Bicontrol 2024 will open!

Earlier Deadlines:

December 15, 2023: Abstract submission (for posters and from which oral presentations will be chosen) and applications for travel awards for early career scientists opened.

January 18, 2024: Early registration at reduced rates opened:

$325 for graduate students and all attendees from low income countries (made possible by our generous Virginia Tech sponsors)

$475 for postdocs

$675 for everyone else

These rates include the following meals: Sunday night welcome reception, Monday lunch and opening reception, Tuesday lunch, Wednesday lunch and evening banquet.  Note: the number of Virginia Tech-sponsored reduced registration rates for students and postdoc is limited. Therefore, we could run out of  these low rates if interest in the conference is higher than expected.

There will be an all day Networking event on Wednesday ($50 for students and attendees from low in come countries; $100 for everyone else), which will include a visit to Virginia Tech's Kentland Farm, Mountain Lake Lodge (location of the filing of the iconic Dirty Dancing movie; lunch will be served), the Blueridge Parkway (with optional hike or winery visit), an evening filled with music and dancing food and drinks in the small town of Floyd.

February 1, 2024: Application for early career travel awards for international applicants closed.

February 15, 2024: Application for early career travel awards for applicants at US institutions closed.

February 15, 2024: Early career travel awards for international applicants were communicated and oral presentations by international travel awardees were chosen.

March 5, 2024: Early career travel awards for applicants at US institutions will be communicated and oral presentations by US travel award applicants will be communicated.

March 15, 2024: Last day to submit abstracts! closed

March 25, 2024: Abstract acceptance as oral presentation or poster presentation will be communicated. done

March 31, 2024: Early registration at reduced rates will end closed
