  • Low Cost
  • Time (brewing takes eight hours in one sitting and ferments for two weeks, limiting amounts of testing)
  • Fixed system to be used
  • Less than a one year timeline

Criteria

  • SOPs are readable for inexperienced students
  • Equipment and set-up must follow Manufacturing safety standards
  • Brew with 80% brewhouse efficiency for multiple brews
  • Labels that can withstand 212 degrees Fahrenheit or greater and is legible
