Session 2 - Unstuck & On Target: A Journey to Real Behavior Change
Unstuck and On Target (UOT), a highly effective intervention for students ages 8-15, is an executive function curriculum designed to improve flexibility, planning, organization, problem solving, emotional regulation/coping, and goal setting. Watch as Radford City Public School's Behavior Interventionist, Blake Burdack, shares his division's implementation journey of Unstuck & On Target. He will briefly discuss/demonstrate:

The IRIS Center offers Universal Design for Learning: Creating a Learning Environment that Challenges and Engages All Students, a free module that examines the three principles of Universal Design for Learning. Related service providers may refine their understanding of how to apply these principles to student goals, instructional materials, instructional methods, and assessments to better serve their students and support educators.

This webinar was recorded live and edited into three parts with the goal of professional development material for administrators, all teachers as well as co-teaching teams, either individually or as a community of practice. This can be used in your division, your school, your department, or at any grade level. Attendees will learn about the High Leverage Practices (HLP’s) in Special Education, the importance of HLP #16, explicit instruction (EI), in all learning environments followed by videos of these practices in action. Access to this webinar series is free, but registration is required as it is possible to earn professional development hours by completing it.
