An initiative at Jadavpur University where thirty underprivileged students attending sub-par public schools were tutored by volunteers in fundamental areas like English and Mathematics, with the goal of preventing them from dropping out of school and supporting them to attain a professional degree.
Volunteer, Child Rights and You: December 2012 – 2015
Working in low income group neighborhoods in Kolkata and advocating for the rights and needs of underprivileged children in these areas, creating Public Action groups where members of society were sensitized to the plight of marginalized children.
