Spring 2017: Foundation of Physics I: Lab component

Instructor for two sections (67 students) including overview of concepts, lab experiments and grading exercise in foundation topics in Physics and their application in everyday scenarios.
Graduate teaching assistant for common office hours of all undergraduate students at Virginia Tech taking courses in the Physics department.

Spring 2016: Electronics Lab I

(ECE 2274), Virginia Tech

Instructor for two sections (32 students), including oral lectures on electronic device fundamentals and circuits, laboratory experiments, course website maintenance and grading exercises.
Encouraged interest of students in Electronics and made each experiment exciting by sharing broader commercial and research applications of fundamental experiments.

Fall 2015: Open Electronics Lab

(ECE 2054, ECE 2074, ECE 3074), Virginia Tech

Teaching assistant for sophomore and junior year students from Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical departments, mentoring students in designing electrical and electronic circuits and their fundamental understanding.

Volunteer, Blacksburg Refugee Partnership: Summer 2017

Working with and tutoring for the children of families who have come to the United States to escape their war-torn countries, helping them in the process of resettlement.

C0-founder and Volunteer, Jadavpur University Social Initiative, 2015-2016

An initiative at Jadavpur University where thirty underprivileged students attending sub-par public schools were tutored by volunteers in fundamental areas like English and Mathematics, with the goal of preventing them from dropping out of school and supporting them to attain a professional degree.

Volunteer, Child Rights and You: December 2012 – 2015

Working in low income group neighborhoods in Kolkata and advocating for the rights and needs of underprivileged children in these areas, creating Public Action groups where members of society were sensitized to the plight of marginalized children.
