Beyond Academics

When I get the chance to get out of the lab, there are three things that I like to indulge in: Food, Travel and Photography. I am an avid traveler, and wherever I visit, I enjoy authentic local cuisine and often bring home a recipe to experiment. I love hiking in the Himalayas and the Appalachia. Landscapes inspire me, and have led me to become an enthusiastic photographer, albeit not an exceptional one. As a graduate student, I spend whatever I can of my very limited stipend to explore this beautiful country, and its varied culinary scene.
