Abstract

The monograph's chapters, based on the analysis of European and Ukrainian experience, reveal the social, psychological, pedagogical and legal parameters of the modern inclusive educational space. The historical background of the introduction of inclusion in modern practice in the EU and Ukraine is highlighted. The peculiarities of the formation of inclusive competence and the issues of integrating the experience of European countries into the practice of training specialists in Ukraine are revealed. The main ways of implementing European approaches to the organisation of an inclusive educational space in the practice of preschool, primary, secondary and higher education in Ukraine are proposed. The monograph will highlight the results of research conducted within the project.

The research was implemented as part of the module ‘Social Integration of Children with Special Needs in an Environment of Diversity and Inclusion: European Approaches’ module of the project: 101085267 - SEEDUE4UA - ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH (2022-2025) 

The monograph is intended for researchers involved in the training of future specialists in psychological and pedagogical support for children with special needs in educational institutions.

The monograph will also be useful for students, practitioners and specialists dealing with inclusion and work with children with special needs; volunteers, representatives of NGOs, volunteers. The editorial board is not responsible for the content of the sections and may not share the opinion of the authors.
