Laptop computers have been made available to every VPMS student. Computers are issued by the technology department and usage is monitored by VPSD. Students who damage or violate the district’s acceptable use policy will face administrative consequences or fines for repair or replacements. Each core classroom is also equipped with a projector system used for student and teacher presentations. Each projector system is connected to the classroom computer, projection device, amplifier, and speakers that are mounted in the ceiling.

Students who have been receiving services of the Special School District will continue to receive services as outlined in the I.E.P. SSD teachers will work with Mrs. Steinkamp to create a schedule that meets each student’s needs.

Students who receive accommodations through a 504 will continue to receive these accommodations as written in the 504. Information and coordination of all 504 students and their plans will continue to be done through Mrs. Steinkamp.

A gifted class will be available for qualifying students in grades six, seven, and eight.
