Please send order forms and money in a sealed envelope labeled with the student and teacher's name. Turn in order forms and money by Thursday, November 16th to receive awards.
Once again, we have been given the opportunity to sell raffle tickets. Mendoza Ford is generously donating ALL proceeds to Vermilion Parish Schools and the top prizes of a 2023 Ford F-150 4x4 STX OR $35,000 cash value.
The raffle will be held on December 9th, 2023 at Mendoza Ford in Maurice. Tickets are $10 and will be prepaid, checks payable to CPE. They can also be purchased online (the link will be live on Wednesday). The winner need not be present to win but must be 18 or older and have a valid driver's license.
Our school will receive all of the profits from tickets sold at CPE.
Proceeds will help provide instructional materials, operating expenses, motivational incentives for students, faculty and staff, and other expenditures not funded through other sources.
Student Prizes
The student in the parish that sells the most tickets will win $500 and the person who sells the winning ticket will win $300.
CPE Rewards
Each student will receive one free dress pass/jean day pass for each ticket sold. Free dress/jean day passes can be redeemed on any Monday of the school year. *No shorts except CPE shorts*
Sell 20 or more tickets to attend a pizza party.
Sell 10 or more tickets to attend an ice cream party.
Top seller in the school will receive a $50 gift card.
Tickets will be assigned by the school and returned with your child.
Get your student's CPE Spirit Wear including joggers!
Spirit wear can be purchased online or in the office.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Students do not report.
Please arrive at your scheduled time.
During these conferences, teachers will share your child's academic progress and address any questions or concerns you may have. We believe that partnership between home and school is crucial for your child's success and we are looking forward to positive and productive conservations as we partner together. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education.

PBIS Perks- Students may spend 3 Cool Cash to wear their favorite color shirt or their CPE spirit shirt with CPE mesh shorts, CPE joggers, or uniform bottoms.

4-H Meeting: Members may wear their 4-H shirts with uniform bottoms.

Friday, November 10
Veteran's Day
Veterans must arrive at CPE by 8:30 am and report to the front office.
Students will line the halls to celebrate our Veterans in a WALKING PARADE. Each student who brings a Veteran will get to proudly parade around the school as other students and teachers send cheers and grateful applause.
Students who brought a Veteran guest will accompany them a small celebration to honor our Veterans. We will present a Veteran's day slideshow and enjoy refreshments.
All students are allowed to wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE attire. Please adhere to the VPBS handbook for free dress guidelines.

Cold Weather Days: When the temperature is 50 degrees or below, students may wear uniform pants, CPE joggers, or leggings under their uniform shorts or skirts. CPE joggers are still available in the office.

"Win the feud, give some food"
CPE 4-H Club is having their annual food drive November 13-16. Food items can be dropped of in the gym in the morning. Students donating items are allowed to wear a non-uniform top with uniform bottoms. In order to wear a free dress shirt on the designated days, a student must follow the handbook guidelines.
Monday- It's time to help CAN hunger. (Bring 5 or more can goods to wear a free dress shirt.)
Tuesday- Rice, Rice Baby (Bring any sized bag of rice to wear a free dress shirt.)
Wednesday- Peanut Butter Jelly Time (Bring any sized jar of peanut butter to wear a free dress shirt.)
Thursday- Win the feud, give some food (Bring any 3 food items to wear a free dress shirt.)
Last year, we had an amazing year. We collected 6, 000 pounds for our food drive and touched many lives with this wonderful gift. Our supplies go to the Kaplan Food Bank.
Please do not send any cooked food items or open items. Items need to be store packaged.

AB Honor Roll 3.5-3.999 Lowest Grade B
Honor Roll 3.0-3.999 Lowest Grade C
At the end of the year award ceremony, students will be recognized for academic achievement based on the following GPA guidelines:
