Trust is a firm belief in the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something, or a reliance on the truth of something or someone.

I will serve as auditor with honesty and integrity and will work to keep the public’s trust as I continue to perform my duties as your next Woodbury County Auditor Recorder. 

Interesting fact, Michelle successfully completed Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) training that is put on by the Iowa DCI. This rigorous training over two weeks is attended by criminal investigators, and police officers from across the state of Iowa.

As the director of a Law Enforcement Information Sharing Network that covered 16 counties in Northwest Iowa, Michelle worked with Federal, State, and Local Police Organizations across the state. This is one of the many reasons why Michelle has earned the respect and trust of many law enforcement officials including Woodbury county Sheriff Chad Sheehan.

This is why Sheriff Sheehan and others both current and former law enforcement officials have endorsed Michelle Skaff for Woodbury County Auditor, Michelle will run the Auditors office in accordance to Iowa Law, and will take appropriate action when criminal activity is detected. Michelle has also taught criminal justice courses.
