10/21/24. Thank you Anthon Fire Rescue for a great dinner last night. It is important to support the men and women who volunteer to respond to emergencies in our time of need.. We were told around 1100 meals had been served. It was good to see friends I have known since serving as the Woodbury County Emergency Management Coordinator, and your well wishes for the campaign were greatly appreciated!
The meal with brisket and pulled pork was fantastic! The campaign pups enjoyed the ride and we loved the sunset.
10/18/24. Tails of the road Danbury edition. After work today we loaded up Campaign1 with the pups and took off for Danbury to deliver yard signs. We made stops along the way to visit supporters and place more signs. We enjoyed the amazing moon in the sky and the beautiful colors of the harvest season.
In Danbury we had a late supper that did not disappoint. The wind settled down a little bit for the trip home. Every day of this campaign is an adventure and Michelle appreciates YOUR support!
In-person voting has started at the Woodbury County Courthouse and the Long Lines Family Recreation Center. You can also vote on weekends. Vote for Michelle Skaff for Woodbury County Auditor!
Michelle was in Sergeant Bluff this evening 10/8/24, where she received a friendly welcome from the city council. One of them commented about the large number of her yard signs that have been placed around town showing support for her candidacy. The work of Team Skaff is not going unnoticed
Michelle has been endorsed by Sergeant Bluff Chief of Police Scott Pack and we will be making another endorsement announcement soon!
Vote for a qualified and trusted candidate, vote for Michelle Skaff for Woodbury County Auditor in the November 5th General Election. Early in person voting starts October 16th at the Woodbury County Courthouse.
It has been another busy week for Team Skaff traveling Woodbury County from Sioux City to Pierson. We had dinner at the Gas Lantern in Pierson Friday night. Michelle was busy door knocking all day Saturday in Morningside, the Northside, and the Westside of Sioux City meeting dozens of people securing votes and placing yard signs. Our last stop Saturday was in rural Sergeant Bluff where we were treated to a beautiful sunset. Enjoy a few pictures of our travels the last two days.
Saturday was full of travel and meeting good people. First stop was in Lawton at the Fire/Rescue pancake fundraiser, I’m honored to have support from so many people there. In Anthon my team attended the Made + Found Midwest Market event, this will be an annual stop for me in the future, it is a great way to support small businesses in Woodbury County. We picked up some amazing prime rib dinners at the Fireside to eat later. In Smithland we stopped and visited June at the Corner Store and enjoyed a soft serve cone while dropping off Skaff Campaign shirts. Next, we delivered a campaign sign to our supporters at Buffalo Joes.
In each town and along the route we delivered requested yard signs and door knocked placing new ones. Many folks pledged to vote for me on November 5th. THANK YOU! The day ended at the Sioux City Convention Center attending the Woodbury County Conservation Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center fundraiser. It was fun seeing Supervisor Mark Nelson in our travels and visiting with Conservation Director Heissel. Campaigning provides me an opportunity to meet the citizens I serve and work with. I listen to their concerns and learn about them; this is what I will continue to do as Woodbury County Auditor.
From Riverside to Morningside we placed over 50 yard signs this afternoon. It was an opportunity to meet up with great friends who are continuing their support for Michelle!
While door knocking Michelle picked up several new supporters.
We also had team members placing signs in the City of Sergeant Bluff and the Singing Hills area this weekend. Team Skaff is working hard for your vote! Place your sign order at Voteforskaff.com or text us! 9/15/24.
Lots of fun at Pets on Parade in Riverside Park to raise money for the Siouxland Humane Society. Coco and Buddy made some new friends! 9/14/24.
The Sergeant Bluff Pioneer Days Parade was followed by an ice cream social and dedication at the Fire/Rescue station. It was a fun time with Madi riding with Grandma in the parade. It was a great opportunity to meet with people, many who I worked with as a 911 operator and as the Woodbury County Emergency Management Coordinator. I appreciate the support from my team and the community.
Great time in Lawton on Wednesday evening 8/7/24. A cool car show, Pattie's Pitstop Barbeque, and sweet desserts at the community center. Fun way to kickoff Lawton-Fest!
The campaign was in Anthon, OTO, Lawton, rural area's, and several parts of Sioux City this week with door knocking and events. Michelle spoke with the Woodbury County Deputies and Civilian Officers, then with the Lawton Volunteer Firefighters.
It was good to meet with so many good people and supporters who have early voted, and others who will be voting on June 4th. Requests for yard signs are still rolling in from all over Woodbury County. Thank You!
We had a wonderful evening at the Morningside Days Parade in Sioux City. All along the parade route people loved seeing Michelle, many shouting words of encouragement.
Your vote on June 4th for Michelle will help ensure a qualified, experienced, and dedicated candidate will be on the ballot for Woodbury County Auditor on November 5th.
We have been traveling all over Woodbury County door knocking and meeting people. Sioux City, Lawton, Bronson, Salix, Sloan, and Danbury just to name a few places. The response has been great and we appreciate your support. I'm happy to have the endorsement of Danbury Fire Chief Bob Welte who I worked with while serving as the Woodbury County Emergency Management Coordinator, and still today as Deputy Auditor.
We met some good people in the City of Pierson, IA this evening. Thank you Carry Book for the welcome at the Gas Lantern, the shrimp and chicken meal was great.
After dinner we walked over to the City Council meeting. I appreciate the time given to present my qualifications and experience. We then did some door knocking, not only picking up votes but making friends! We will be coming back through with the yard signs you requested soon.
After the pancake breakfast last Sunday, and this visit tonight, I can see why Pierson is called a small town with a big heart! Take me home county roads.
Thank You Bronson City Council for allowing me to speak about my campaign this evening. It was also good to visit with Woodbury County Attorney James Loomis who was present. Since being elected, James makes it a point to check with county communities to see if his office can address any needs they may have. As Deputy Auditor I review and certify budgets of local governments in Woodbury County, and I fully intend to stay in contact with them and address their needs as the County Auditor.
