• Boys Lacrosse Announcement (grades 7 and 8): 

  • The parent/interest meeting will be Wednesday February 4th at 7pm. 

  • On Sunday February 8th, our VLBC has secured us some indoor turf time at the new turf barn facility located at 1 Countryside Lane, Voorheesville. We have the turf from 2-4pm that day. We are inviting players in grades 7-8 to attend for the first hour from 2-3pm, These one hour practices will be fast paced and consist of lots of dodging, shooting, agilities, and ground ball practice. We are able to wear normal cleats so we want to maximize live field play aspects that a gym prevents. 

  • Players that wish to attend MUST RSVP using the link that was sent via Parent Square on Jan. 29th. All players are encouraged to fill out the form, even if they cannot attend on February 8

• Attention all 8th graders! The International Community Service Club is hosting a snowball dance on February 6th, 6:30-8:30. Come dressed nicely (but no need to spend a ton of money) for a night of dancing and fun for VMS students only!

• On Friday, January 30 from 3-4:30pm, come to Voorheesville Public Library after school to join us for a hands-on class where you'll learn to craft body scrubs. No previous experience is needed and there will be snacks. School bus transportation to Voorheesville Public Library is available with parent permission. Please visit the library Google Classroom for more information and the link to register.

• On May 22, The Middle School Student Council will be hosting a Film Festival!

Students create and submit a video in one of the following five categories:

•  🎭 Drama

•  😂 Comedy / Harmless Pranks 

•  🎶 Music Video / Musical

•  🏆Documentary / Sports

•  ⚖️Parody

• Pack up your Magic the Gathering and Pokemon cards and head over to Voorheesville Public Library on Sunday, January 25! Bring your own card decks to challenge other players, compare collections, and make some trades. There will be an intro to Magic the Gathering for beginners from 1:30 - 2:00 pm, with starter decks provided and open game play until 3:30pm. Please visit the school library Google Classroom for more information and the link to register. School bus transportation is not available to Voorheesville Public Library for this activity.
