Today, the Visibility Club will be back in the Commons collecting donations for the Trevor Project, a non-profit that provides mental health support to LGBTQ+ youth. Donate $1 or more, and you can pick out a custom pride sticker or a pre-made bracelet. You can also donate any amount to the jars located in some classrooms.
Today's fact: According to research done by the Trevor Project, 49% of LGBTQ youth in rural areas and small towns said their community was unaccepting of LGBTQ people compared to 26% of those in more urban areas.
Outdoor Track will have an informational meeting after school on March 8th in the cafeteria. The first day of practice will be on March 15th from 3-5.

Additional Announcement: This week is National School Counseling Week, so the Visibility Club will be collecting donations all month for the Trevor Project, a non-profit that supports the mental health of LGBTQ+ youth through research, resources and services. There will be donation jars located in some classrooms, and every Wednesday and Friday of February, there will be a donation table in the commons, where you can receive a thank you gift in exchange for a donation.
Today's fact: According to Mental Health America, LGBTQ+ teens are six times more likely to experience symptoms of depression than non-LGBTQ+ teens.

If you are interested in playing girls lacrosse this spring, please email Coach Koralus that you are interested. There will be a girls lacrosse meeting this Thursday at 2:45 in the LGI for anyone in 7-12th grade that is interested in playing.
