Cold Fusion Energy

Cold fusion power is an unlimited pure energy source that is created by making a nuclear reaction at room temperature (2). The entirety of the show, the main characters are trying to retrieve this power source for their own gain. Just like the US and USSR, the people in “Fallout” battle for supremacy that is seemingly achievable with nuclear power. The cold fusion energy and how to use it becomes the prime reason for conflict throughout the show, mirroring the real ideological struggles between the US and USSR during the Cold War. Secondly, just as the Cold War affected many nations apart from just the US and USSR due to alliances, many different organizations and people were involved in pursuing the cold fusion. We can even see how the Cold Fusion created an alliance between the main characters by the end of the show.
