While we are unfortunately stuck at home with free time on our hands there are some activities that can help keep the kids busy and even save some money with rebate programs from MidAmerican Energy. They have online cooking classes that a family can do together to Astronomy activities, making birdhouses out of recycled material and even creating your own greenhouse with milk jugs. By completing the HomeCheck Online you are able to qualify for a free Energy Efficiency Kit that can contain different items, based on your assessment, that will help lower energy use. There are a number of different options for people to address energy usage that can help save money.
