Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass communication
Creativity is a natural extension of our enthusiasm. Students enter this course with passion and dreams. This course is designed to produce media leaders of tomorrow who as lifelong learners, would offer a plethora of media services, matching professional requirements and ethical norms.
The course was introduced in 2003 in English the first batch with the strength of 24 students. The department grew from strength by strength by increasing the number of seats. In 2010 the same course was also offered in Marathi to 36 students.
The intensive three years/06 semester program of BAMMC earlier known as Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) aims to yield graduates with strong academic knowledge and professional skills.
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 with minimum 40% in Examination (Arts, Commerce, Science) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.

BMM/ BAMMC department is excellent & I am saying this with no dilemma in my heart. It gave me tons of opportunities to grow, I was a tiny bud & my department blossomed me. All teachers for me were good as all of them tried their best and make me push my limits, they all helped, guided & supported me in all my ideas. This is the paramount specialty of my department that the student-teacher relationship is not conservative but collaborative whether it's about events or regular classroom lectures. Yes, all teachers were good but some were really great as those great ones not only focused on academics but also on the overall personality development of a student (from teaching mannerism to the sacred lessons of gratitude). There are many, so many great things I want to say about my department but I can't because words are limited & for my department my feelings are infinite. So, at last, I will conclude my opinion by saying that I spend three years with my department & those were the best years of my life, and trust me I am not exaggerating a tiny bit. Thank you! I think true education isn't about what the books can teach you, it's about what is outside the book in the practical world that needs to be learnt. The lessons the department of Mass Media has taught me still reside in the back of my mind even after I have changed my career path away from the Media Industry, I am glad I was part of such a prestigious college and institute, thankful for everything that has crossed my paths in my years at the college.
