Richard M. Nixon - "Checkers" Speech

At the time of the speech, Nixon was a senator from California. He talks about being accused of taking money from other people in a way that was not "moral." He explains where the money came from and how it was used and provides evidence that he did not do anything wrong. He says that he did accept one gift that may not have entirely followed the rules, a dog named "Checkers." He also said that his kids love the dog and he is not giving it back. I would like to ask him these questions:

You say that none of your contributors has asked you for a favor. What would you do if one of them did?
Do you think it would be unethical if you added your wife to your staff and paid her for the work she is already doing?

This is a visual that I used to demonstrate the different ways that you can create right angles. I sued the editing tools on my phone to rotate and crop the images. I paid attention to color, using a monochromatic palate to avoid distracting from the information and creating a cohesive look. I put everything together on a Google Slide and then saved my work as an image.

Jammin’ With a Journal!! (APPEX Example)

Pitch

This is my final APPEX project. to communicate the value of my product I began by speaking passionately about the positive impact that journaling has had on my life. I used a presentation template that reflected my concept of journaling for students, to keep the idea of journaling in the minds of the aoudience throughout the presentation. I added examples of different styles of journals, including using had drawings along with notes, to show that anyone can develop their own personal style of journaling.
