Concert Information

The concert is a culmination of your child’s efforts in class.  Participation in the preparation of the music and performance in the concert will be reflected in the marking period grade. 

One of the most important ideals that we try to instill is a sense of responsibility. Participation in a performing group means a commitment to perform at the concerts, and because our concerts take place in the evening, we need a commitment from each of you.

Concert attire:  All students are expected to come in black and white dress clothing.  Black dress slacks and nice white shirt for the gentlemen.  Black dress pants or black skirt and a nice white blouse for the young ladies.  All Black is also acceptable.

 Please be aware that concerts are planned for instrumentation, seating, and space. Therefore, students must perform on the night they are assigned. Please plan accordingly.
