"Singing is not an act of will, but an act of skill."
-Cornelius L. Reid
Students will be graded on the following components
Weekly Chorus Class Musicianship Grade (specifics are delineated below)
Small Rotating Group Lessons
Written Classwork and Homework
Concert Performances (Q2 & Q4)
Recorded Assignments (Q1 & Q3)
A considerable portion of students' final grade is based on Musicianship. A Musicianship grade will be given at the end of each week, based on your active participation/singing and effort exerted during Chorus classes (out of 100). These scores are published at the end of every week on Home Access and you are strongly encouraged to check your Musicianship grades on a weekly basis in an effort to monitor your progress in Chorus.
