Tropical Fish
After learning about the habitat of tropical fish, 2nd grade students created a drawing of a fish and designed it using PATTERNS. Each fish found a home in the ocean surrounded by coral, plants, treasures and much more. Students learned that by overlapping images they could create the feeling of DEPTH in their picture. Students also used marker to create the illusion of TEXTURE. By the end of this project we were all ready to go snorkeling in the beautiful coral reef where our fish live.
