First graders created cupcakes inspired by the American painter WAYNE THIEBAUD (pronounced TEE-bow). Mr. Thiebaud created paintings of fun things from everyday life such as cakes, hot dogs and gum ball machines. Students learned that his art work can be labeled REALISM because it looks so real!
