UVA ceramics club has partnered with CityClay, a local studio that offers wheel-throwing classes for UVA students. These weekly classes are 8-10 weeks long and are first come, first serve. Session often fill up immediately, so register as soon as you can. Classes are taught by professional potters. Students will learn basic throwing skills with more advanced techniques as needed. No experience needed!
There are membership fees, and you must purchase your own clay at the studio. However, you will have access to the studio during open studio hours, which provides tools, aprons, and towels, and kiln firings. We will provide some reimbursement, but keep in mind that there is a deadline to submit it.

The form will require you to email one of our officers your official receipt from the classes
You will also need to pick the method of reimbursement (Venmo or Zelle)
You have to attend two of the classes to be reimbursed
