THE PURPOSE OF ILEAMalta IS:

a. to promote the development and application of logotherapy and existential-analytic psychotherapy in the context of health care in the Republic of Malta;

b. representing the interests of its members.

The institute tries to achieve its goal by:

a. establishing and maintaining a public register of logotherapists e existential-analytical psychotherapists;

b. the design, establishment and updating of a professional code and the endorsement and compliance with complaints and disciplinary regulations;

c. drawing up and adopting complaints and disciplinary regulations and carrying out all actions ensuing therefrom;

d. promoting science and skills for the therapies mentioned in the aim of the association;

e. organizing scientific and other meetings that support the aim of the association;

f. representing the professional and social interests of its members;

g. entering into collective agreements for its members;

h. to issue a periodical;

i. promoting international cooperation (…); if necessary, setting up and maintaining committees, project working groups and the like.
