We are pleased to announce that our research article, “Skeletal muscle exhibits coordinated metabolic adaptations toward lipid utilization and enhanced redox capacity in high-feed-efficient dairy cows,” has been selected as an Editor’s Choice article by the Journal of Dairy Science.
This study provides new insights into how skeletal muscle metabolism is associated with feed efficiency in dairy cows, highlighting coordinated metabolic adaptations related to lipid utilization and redox capacity in high-feed-efficient animals.
We thank all of our collaborators and team members for their valuable contributions, thoughtful input, and hard work throughout the project.
The full article is available in the Journal of Dairy Science and will be featured in the journal’s Editor’s Choice Collection. https://doi.org/10.3168/jds.2026-28452Â
Participation in ADSA 2026 Annual Meeting
Our lab once again had the opportunity to participate in the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) 2026 Annual Meeting, where we were able to present our research, network with peers, and celebrate notable achievements.
We are proud to share that our team won two awards in the Undergraduate Student Division (USD) Poster Presentation category:
Edward Kolodziej won 1st place
Lucy Davey secured 3rd place
