Zyatica PD Intro

Making learning real and authentic is what we do as educators. We hold our students accountable for their learning through goal setting, check ins, revision and even assessments. Do we do the same for our fellow educators? Do we assume they will take it back and use it once they leave? If yes what support do they have to do so?

As educators we attend many professional development opportunities that seem to be forgotten the minute we return to the 'busyness' of the classroom. Zyatica PD is about not only offering professional learning but supporting educators to become more accountable for the professional development they do and for taking it back to their classrooms and students. Zyatica PD aims to do this through goal setting and check-ins after the professional development has been undertaken. These check ins are designed to assist educators to implement their new learnings by offering support and guidance along the way. To support educators to implement and offer guidance to work through the issues that may stop this occurring.
