Why do we ask for registration?
Our aim is to make ZwiftMasters racing as real and as honest as possible so we're following a process which many real-life racers will be familiar with. It's not difficult and it's not foolproof but we think it's enough to put off people who don't take care to make sure their Zwift stats are accurate.
There are two steps:
Additionally as of January 2018 you will also need to have registered and agreed to the T&Cs of ZwiftPower. Without that we can't get the race data from ZwiftPower in the right format. (See below for more detail)
That's it. The registrations are processed usually each week after the round of races so people have a chance to catch up, then published here.
A note on privacy, as some have raised questions. Feel free to obscure parts of your ID if you wish. Technically I don't even need your date of birth, just the year if that also helps. However be assured I take privacy seriously; I deal with it in my professional life as well. Along with your name (the name you choose to race under) only age, weight and gender are published. Zwift IDs are also listed so people can see whether or not they've given them to me. Everything else is kept in a Google drive behind a double-verification sign in to which only I have access and is not shared at any time.
ZwiftPower Registration
ZwiftPower is the de facto results system for Zwift. We use your Zwift ID as the link between your Masters registration and the ZwiftPower results.
As of January 2018 you must also have fully registered with ZwiftPower and accepted their new Terms and Conditions to enable us to access the results - without this we can't see the full race and rider data which we need to make sure everyone has displayed their in-race category for example or to check weights.
To find your Zwift ID in ZwiftPower and also check you have registered and updated the T&Cs here is a step-by-step guide.
