Collette Genaíos

Her name means "people of victory" and "brave". She's sometimes called "new beggining of Ákri", or "calm threat" by Duíkang townsfolk.

Collette was one of the strongest warriors in her village of Ákri. She had the most accurate aim and was the best archer far and wide. She served as a scout and held the rank of sergeant major. Unfortunately, everything changed when the city of Duíkang attacked them again, except this time it was different. Instead of the usual start, they demanded that Collette come before them. The deputy commander, Lóng Yǒng, then agreed with her that they would get their peace and never set foot on their land with bad intentions if she gave him her hand. And so Collette lost her strongest asset and her position in the army.
She began learning how to wield a sword from her cousin, but she is still not strong enough, especially on her own. The only job left for her now is to carry goods and supplies between friendly, nearby dwellings. That is all she has been doing for the last four months, apart from getting closer to her family.

Ákri
A small village on the edge of the winter mountains. Only people who have nothing to do with magic live here. Those who never leave the village have never encountered other races or magic. Near the village stands a large and obviously ancient tree, about which many legends are told. It is called Eísodos. The inhabitants of Ákri (Damaran) pray to the gods at this tree, most often to Uller, the god of hunting, archery, and winter. There is not just one god that everyone believes in, but people often turn to him before long hunting expeditions or battles. It is said that where it lies is the entrance to the heart of the winter mountains, where the magic of winter is hidden. It is impossible to say exactly what this means, as all the stories are different, but what they all have in common is that it is thanks to this that there is endless winter in these mountains. When Duíkang first wanted war over territory, most people assumed they wanted this power, but Jiang, the commander not only of the shi but of the entire city, never said so. People from Ákri with potential were trained for war from the age of 15 because they needed as many soldiers as possible so as not to be at a disadvantage. Most of the fighting took place in winter, so Ákri had the advantage, which is why Duíkang surrendered. This confused everyone, as the war had lasted about six years, so it was strange that they would just give up their goal. But now they live in peace, and at least Ákri has no conflicts.
