The Domeless Alphablock (scientific name: Plakasoma kenoskephalus), also known as the 'It' by the Alphablocks, is a species of Learningblock closely related to the sapient Alphablocks that are endemic to Alphaland. It is a non-sapient, tree-climbing species and are usually found in the Plains and forests where they hang out on the tree branches.
A Domeless Alphablock or an 'It' as seen in the Alphablocks episode 'Quiet'
The Domeless Alphablock's anatomy is quite similar to that of an Alphablock, albeit a bit smaller, with larger eye cavities, larger feet bones, and skinnier arms as well as a prominent 'chin' protuding from the lower middle of its face. Species can come in green, teal, brown or purple, but they're usually red. Its large eyes and slightly bigger pupils indicates that it has great eyesight and its large feet are ideal for evacuating predators and climbing trees.
One notable feature about the Domeless Alphablock is that it lacks the signature glass dome that the Alphablocks have. Instead of relying on a letter to make their sound, the Domeless Alphablock resorts to mimicking the sounds of other animals, especially its closely-related peers. They achieve this ability thanks to their unique way of learning certain patterns and specialised respiratory organs in order to perfectly copy sounds. A Domeless Alphablock can mimic up to 18 sounds and mainly uses those replicated sounds to communicate and to impress potential mates. They're basically like the parrots of this world, if you think about it!
Like the Alphablocks, Domeless Alphablocks are very social animals, often hanging around the tree branches to communicate towards one another. Domeless Alphablocks are also mischievious and likes to trick animals with their excellent mimicry. Due to this, the Domeless Alphablocks has been an icon in many stories and folklore of the Alphablocks. Younger Domeless Alphablocks are gerenally curious and are more likely to socialise with animals than adult Domeless Alphablocks. However, it is not recommended to interact with it as adult Domeless Alphablocks are protective of their young. Domeless Alphablocks are frugivorous and eat a variety of fruits that are present in their homes. Domeless Alphablocks also spend most of their time at night and rarely come out in the day.
