Alphaland is a continent and one of the two large continents in planet Grammarithmos besides Numberland. Alphaland is longer than Numberland but has less area. Alphaland is home to the intelligent Alphablock species alongside other plakosomids like wingplanes and monkeyblocks.
Size: Somewhat a bit bigger than Africa
Plains: 56%
Forests: 11%
Polar Region: 19%
Deserts: 8%
Shores: 6%
25% of surface is ocuppied by rivers and lakes
52% of land is used up by cities, towns, and villages
The plains is one of the most common habitats in Alphaland and, to an extent, Numberland as well. The plains are usually flat with occassional 'bumps' or 'minihills' and mineral rich rocks. The ground of the plains are covered in a grass-like plant known as 'snowgrass', it's name given from its white colour due to the presence of leukophyll in their leaves. Quillbranches, furbushes, and various low-lying plants are also a common sight among this habitat. Common creatures here include small wingplanes, quadbats, bugbulls and the Common Alphablock (Plakasoma grammakephalus vulgaris).
Alongside the quillbranches, another fascinating kind of plant called the birdtail can be scattered throughout the plains. These kinds of plants usually signifies that this area is near a forest.

A mini biome in the plains are the hillands. The hillands are usually small groups of raised 'bumps' above the usual ground. The hills could be as tall as 16 ft up in the air and is slightly cooler than below the hills. Notable inhabitants on the hillands are the armour claded bugbulls, white hill cats, and sky quadbats alongside umbrella quillbranches and some few low laying plants.
One major forest environment in Alphaland is Letter Forest, although there are more forests here albeit smaller. Large, thick-trunked Ruffled birdtails conquered the land, almost covering the sky with their huge quilleaves. Bushes, groundwarts and flowers sprouted out of the forest floor, while animals like runner wingplanes, quadbats, bugbulls and centaurs relax below the leaves. Predators like pouncer quadbats and strangglerpedes can be found here.
As we go further, the birdtail-filled forest can slowly transition into an entirely new realm of new plants. The cottonleaf is truly one of its kind as its leaves are thin and spiral down as the leaf grows. A cottonleaf forest also appears to be magnificent with shades of light teal as it uses a pigment called kiriptero. Animals like the pipsqueak, centicrawler and the leaf-winged quadbat can be found roaming the fascinating teal wonderland.

Alphaland has a smaller polar region compared to that of Numberland. The Alphalandian poles are a bit warmer compared to that of Numberland. Here in the snowy plains, two major lakes can be seen, Lake Iathos and Lake Erithaos, named after the two rival kingdoms from long time ago. Lake Iathos is slightly deeper than Lake Erithaos while Lake Erithaos is bigger in size. Both lakes house a variety of extraordinary sea creatures, such as the diamond shelled tadfish and the glow-eel. Other animals in the poles include the Albatross wingplane and the Waddler Tum.
One major desert in Alphaland is the Parts of Speech Canyon. Although this place is known for its gorgeously big canyon, which gives it its name, most of the area are dry, scorching-hot deserts. One Alphablock subspecies can be seen thriving in this habitat, which is the desert Alphablock. The desert Alphablock differs from its common counterpart with bigger pupils, uneven soles and their diet, which consists of small lizards and bugs. Desert Alphablocks tend to made villages with houses primarily made out of rocks. Canyon wingplanes, Walrustoothed Slinks and Sandzillas are also notable inhabitants of the deserts, as well as funnelplants and sprawclaws.

Shores make up a minority of the Alphaland continent. Small shelled animals tend to burrow in the sand especially when the shore is near the ocean, which makes it an ideal meal for shorerunners, another type of runner wingplane. The sea near the beach is also a great place to see Blucks; another type of Wingplane adapted to swim in the ocean to fish.
Millions of years ago, Alphaland and Numberland used to be a super continent dubbed Learningland. Somewhere around 50 mya, Learningland splitted into the two major continents of today, separating the Alithotouvlaki ancestors along with it. The protoblock of Alphaland later evolved into the Alphablock.
